As an associate, I created art projects that integrated into the curriculum. While working with first graders, I created six independent projects celebrating tide pool life. Over a period of six weeks, each student created a jelly fish, brittle star, sea urchin, hermit crab, sea anemone, and barnacle. As each creature was created, the student found a home for it in the growing, sculptural tidepool on the classroom wall. Each project fit within the Center structure.
