As Artist of the Month, at the San Francisco Day School, I worked with the art teachers to design 4 lessons for each grade of based on the materials and processes used in my sculpture. Here are some sixth graders taking apart stuffed animals and sewing them back together in inventive combinations. The kindergarten adaptation of this lesson involved glueing stuffed animal legs to toilet paper rolls.
